Hematology involves the study of blood cells, blood coagulation, hematopoiesis. Its main purpose is to diagnose and treat blood disease. The diagnosis of blood disease depends on the full knowledge of the components of the blood and its products. This science is important for chemotherapy and dialysis, which is used to diagnose blood disease and to make good products for their treatment.
The Hematology Section of Razi Laboratory in Babol has enjoyed an efficient personnel and provides the unit's routine and specialized services with the accuracy and the standards set by the Ministry of Health.
Quality control in Hematology Department:
To make sure about the result to all related tests and abnormal parameters, they might be repeated through different laboratory equipment and other manual methods.Furthermore, they might be compared in manual methods and automated methods in cases there is a history of the disease. Also, the hematology department performs quality control according to the most developed methods available.
Microscopic Diagnosis:
In addition to the permanent attendence and direct supervision of Dr. M.J. Soleimani (Technical director of Razi Laboratory) over the process of medical diagnosis, Dr.Ensie Shafiq(Anatomical pathologist) and Dr.Shima Soleimani (Clinical pathologist) assist in the differential diagnosis of abnormal cells.
